I feel fairly confident these are Bombyliid flies but I can't find a good resource on the family. The female is nectaring on Clintonia uniflora here. Tongues are nearly the length of their bodies.

These are Acrocerids (Small-headed Flies), my guess would be Eulonchus sp.

Well, I was a bit off. Thank you! I'd only seen photos of the
Acroceridae, and the small-headedness seemed often a little more extreme. Very much appreciated.
