Parapediasia teterrella? -
Parapediasia teterrellus
Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA
July 11, 2014
Size: 12mm
12mm long, came to light at night and perched head-down.
It had sharp, disctinctive, colorful pattern on the wings.
I found another similar specimen. What species could it be?

I think the only one like it in the mid-Atlantic is the Bluegrass Webworm Moth. I don't know if there are look-alikes in Texas.

Parapediasia teterrella
It was fast.
The Moths Photographers Group includes P. teterrella among Texas moths' species.
Thanks -
