. ID'd from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks John.
A tough call between this and S. parvulus, but I think it fits S. minimus better. I didn't see any mites attached but there are two seed-like objects which may be what is stuck to its end.

can't believe this pronotum... minimus looks similar
...but not a perfect match
variability of these guys is sometimes off the charts, tho

I thought it was pretty nifty
