Egg Shells of a Purseweb Spider?

Egg Shells of a Purseweb Spider?
Baton Rouge, Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, USA
July 11, 2014
Found along the edge of a trail.
Seems to be the "purse" of a Purseweb Spider (?).
At the top there appear to be some type of empty egg shells.
Are they egg shells of the Purseweb Spider?
