Identification

“Head black, area behind each eye yellow. (...) First antennal segment yellow, base and apex red, often all black; second segment longer than width of pronotum at base. Pronotum pale yellow, transverse groove behind calli often red. Scutellum yellow, median longitudinal line reddish brown. (...) This species is distinguished by the black head and the black ventral surface”. (1)
