Dicyphus discrepans - female

Dicyphus discrepans - Female
Montreal, Quebec, Canada
September 21, 2006
Distinctive features of D. discrepans: head very dark, ventral surface black.
Identification confirmed by Dr. Michael Schwartz, Agriculture Canada.
There was many of those on a Geranium flower bed in my garden. They strolled on top of leaves, in search of preys. And they captured a good variety of species (see other pictures, taken the same day). This time it caught a black aphid.
