Antigonish, Antigonish County, Nova Scotia, Canada
July 4, 2014
Size: Smaller than thumbnail
Came to porch light 10pm. NE coast Nova Scotia, mixed woods, fields, salt and freshwater marshes.
This is very worn, but doesn't seem to fit well with Peterson Guide or MPG photos for Pyraustine moths. Would appreciate someone's opinion, with many thanks.

Tentative ID. Found I had another one from Lunenburg which I posted here which is similar to my other example but it is a more clear match to a New Brunswick example of Anageshna primordialis, BOLD MNBTT-601.

Hope I got them right.

Anageshna primordialis?
Similar to one I just posted from Lunenburg here. What ever it is, I'm pretty sure they are both the same species. I am wondering if it's a local variation of Anageshna primordialis.
