Adventure Camp Wasp - Chalybion californicum - female

Adventure Camp Wasp - Chalybion californicum - Female
Desoto, Dallas County, Texas, USA
June 16, 2014
I was so proud of my campers who, with supervision from their counselors, were not squeamish at all and were so excited to collect several wasps. This one was evidently unhappy with the condition of its motel room and cleaned itself for quite carefully when I turned it out of the jar.
