Please crop/align the photo?

I agree with the Three-Spotted Fillip identification.

Patrick, the Guide could use a cropped photo showing only the moth, with the head facing straight up rather than at an angle. You can simply replace the existing photo with the edited one if you're willing to make it. The Guide does not yet have any Maine sightings.

Try this

It's better if you replace the original photo than to add a new one. (If I keep your new photo and send the original to Frass, all the identification comments will go with it to Frass, but those are better kept.)

Also, the new photo is exactly what I was hoping to put in the Guide. Thanks for making the extra effort.

After all that, I'm sorry to disappoint: this photo was actually taken in Rhode Island. I left for Maine the day after this photo was taken, and didn't get to edit the images till a long time later. All this editing made me give the photo a second look, and after comparing the date stamp to my calendar, I realized my mistake.
