Horned Passalus - Odontotaenius disjunctus - Male

Size: 37 mm
Found in its tunnels in a rotting log in my yard. Due to the robust horn, I believe this is a male.

This is a series illustrating anatomy for the family guide page--I'm trying to get a handle on beetle families, so am posting some detail shots of one we all know.
