BG636 Fly - Chrysanthrax cypris

BG636 Fly - Chrysanthrax cypris
Near Karr Creek at Hwy 68, East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana, USA
August 5, 2006
Size: body length 10.9 mm.
We believe this is in the family Bombyliidae.
The wing venation and antennae are a good match for the genus Chrysanthrax as described at 6.7 in Herschel Raney's key here. The wing pattern is an excellent match for the drawing of C. cypris shown in the key. Also compare with this photo.
Help with proper placement of this specimen would be appreciated.

I don't think any of the other eastern Chrysanthrax have this dark wing pattern and the golden-rufous body.

Thanks Herschel
