Identification
Sexually dimorphic. The black patch at the wing base of the female does not extend to the coastal margin. The coastal margin of males has dark scales from base to apex.
Remarks
This page is for Crocidosema plebejana of authors not Zeller, 1847, which represents one or more cryptic species. True plebejana is Palearctic.(1)
