pale, newly eclosed - Novelsis aequalis

pale, newly eclosed - Novelsis aequalis
New Hampshire, USA
You can see a faint wavy band of lighter setae on this newly eclosed beetle's pale elytra, an indication it is another N. aequalis. Besides that, the dark/light banding of the larval skin are like the other two N. aequalis I've had eclose from my dermestid rearing container. Maybe *this* one will be a male.
