Potter Wasps - Eumenes fraternus - male - female

Potter Wasps - Eumenes fraternus - Male Female
London, Ontario, Canada
August 13, 2004
Eric mentioned in a previous post that the male can be told by its hooked antennae, white face, and more slender build.

Male Eumenes
Males can be distinguished from females only by counting the number of antenna sections (hard to do) and by smaller size campared to female (if you have the female to compare). Hooked antennas are no proof.
