Edward Trammel,
I'm planning on using this picture in an upcoming revision to the Tree of Life page for Stratiomyidae (tolweb.org). Thank you for taking a good shot of an interesting fly! If you have any questions, please email me.

strat

i also
would like to use your Hoplitimyia constans photos, thanks again. I am registering you as the copyright owner to these pictures and putting them under Creative commons license at tolweb.org. When i do this, they ask for your email address and website. If you want me to list either, please tell me. I think they'll be shared with the public. i thought i'd let you know you have the option.

email and such
my email is now found under my profile here... i will leave it up to you, list it if you like. i am afraid have no website. also, thanks for letting me know about these, however, feel free to use any pictures i have. i should be thanking you for all the flies you help identify, and will check to see if i have any other soldier flies i have not posted yet. i do need to start taking more pictures, i have mainly been attempting to catch Pompilids and the camera keeps getting left behind.

thank you very much
The C. nigricornis will be included, and there's a very good shot of Ptecticus trivittatus of yours I'd like to use - . Thanks again for your help; live shots really make the ToL pages.
