Range
The west coast from California to British Columbia.
Food
Larvae feed mainly on Douglas-Fir; other hosts include Western Hemlock, Western Red Cedar, Grand Fir, Lodgepole Pine (Canadian Forest Service).
Larvae also feed on many broadleaf trees and shrubs (USGS)
