Stink Bug - Oebalus

Stink Bug - Oebalus
Springfield, Virginia, USA
August 3, 2004
I haven't seen a stink bug that looked quite like this one. Most of the ones I've seen are dark brown whereas this one was noticeably yellowish in color. Perhaps it had freshly molted? Any help identifying is appreciated.

Rice Stink Bug?
Hey Richard,

Looks like a shot I posted which I *think* might be O. pugnax, a Rice Stink Bug:

yes, Oebalus pugnax

I agree....
and what a great shot, Richard! Put that one in our mythical 2006 wall calendar:-)

Oebalus
Thank you, Tony and Eric! I've went ahead and moved the image to the Oebalus guide page.
