This larva had not pupated but was showing the signs of readiness. It has stoped eating, exacuating its gut, accounting for the entirely pale body (no dark food showing through), it had grown shorter and stockier, and it was gyrating its abdomen like a pupa does, although not as energetically. I took this shot yesterday (Saturday, Mar. 3) evening, intending to get another shot before it actually pupated.
