Green Arches Larva - Anaplectoides prasina

Green Arches Larva - Anaplectoides prasina
Hidden Corners Sanctuary, Town of Baileys Harbor, Door County, Wisconsin, USA
October 4, 2004
Larva at 54 days old, 5th instar? Larvae were still eating Raspberry leaves. On October 26, 2004 leaves were starting to dry up. Therefore, put the larvae in the cold fruit cellar, in hopes that they would go into diapause and still be alive in spring when there is food for them again. Larvae removed from fruit cellar on May 1, 2005. There is no sign of life, so they must have died.
