Identification

Because of the reddish ("brick red") color of the paranota, I judge this millipede to be the native species, Pseudopolydesmus branneri (Bollman). (Dr Rowland Shelley)

Range

It is one of two species of Pseudopolydesmus occurring in the northeastern US & adjacent Canada. (Dr Rowland Shelley)
