determinations by existing records
I don't support determinations based on previous records. That approach would imply that there could not be new distribution extensions.

That's a good point.
And if P. cinerea were to expand its range southward this could be the first place it was detected.

good point
and for caddis the only way to determine if you are correct is to collect a specimen there and have it positively determined by someone with appropriate experience. I am g;ad to do determinations if you want to send a specimen.
