Black Carrion - Heterosilpha ramosa
White Fox, Torch River, Saskatchewan, Canada

Size: ~16 mm
Close to 16 mm long. Found 4 inches up the side of a wind break, north side of spruce tree.
After pulling the grass away, it froze for a while before dropping onto the ground and vanishing under litter.
These are found in Saskatchewan
