Five-spotted Leptus nymph - Leptus

Five-spotted Leptus nymph - Leptus
Mt. Kessler, Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas, USA
June 20, 2014
Size: 3mm
This is a deutonymph reared from larvae that were removed from leg of a harvestman (Leiobunum). The "pupating" protonymph lasted 21days; i.e., this deutonymph emerged on August, 10. The species is likely undescribed.

The image is a 3-photo montage of photographs from my iPhone that were held to the eye-piece of a microscope. Pretty cool that the alignment software of montage programs is powerful enough to do that.
