Synanthedon sp. - Osminia ruficornis

Synanthedon sp. - Osminia ruficornis
Scatter Creek W.M.A., Greene County, Arkansas, USA
August 15, 2014
Size:
This clearwing moth was visiting Mountain Mint. It was a lot smaller than the Grape Root Borer I photographed in the same area a week before. Could this be S. decipiens?

MOTH ID
After close inspection of your image, I believe this is Osminia ruficornis. The moths have yellow banding in mid-america but white banding in the southwest.
