Early Nason's?

Early Nason's?
Deer Creek Conservation Area, Harford County, Maryland, USA
August 17, 2014
Size: around 3/8"
This tiny slug was found on oak.
I'm leaning toward a really early instar Natada nasoni.

While I wouldn't say for certain...
... that this couldn't be a Nason's slug, in my experience that species has a more flattened appearance in its early instars. I would probably put my money on Adoneta: . Young Monoleuca caterpillars seem to have this general shape also , but I'm less familiar with them.
