Parasitized American Dagger Moth pupa - Acronicta americana

September 23, 2006
Collected last year as a final-instar caterpillar, which pupated on Sept. 26, 2006. Since then, a few Tachnid Fly maggots had emerged from the pupa. Here is one of the fly pupae alongside the moth pupa.
