Colorful fly seeks ID - Wohlfahrtia

Is this a mus*cid, possibly Stom8oxys calci8trans? Pattern on abdomen seems similar, but colors don't. There have been many of these flies out this week. They are quite wary, but don't fly terribly far when startled. Typically, they land directly on the trail, or on plants a few inches high.

Flesh
My first thought on this one would be Sarcophagidae, Flesh Fly, based on the bright red eyes that are not very close together, the gray and black striped thorax, and the checkered abdomen. Admittedly, some of the other Muscid-type flies are similar.

Wohlfartia?
This looks very similar to the genus Wohlfartia, which is indeed in the family Sarcophagidae. I think we have some images in the guide already you can compare to.
