Large Black Bumble Bee, not a black and gold, something different - Xylocopa micans
Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, USA
August 19, 2014
Size: large
At White Rock Lake walking path. This bee was different from the black and gold bumble bees I found in another spot at the lake. This one was larger and more solid black with some burnished gold glints.
