Cuckoo Bee? - Ericrocis pintada

Cuckoo Bee? - Ericrocis pintada
Hereford, just west of Hwy 92, lower Ash Canyon, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
August 2, 2014
Butterfly garden in oak-grassland interface. SE Huachuca Mts. Nectaring on Verbena macdougalii. Elev. 5,020'
A very disappointing situation as all I had available was my little point-and-shoot and I'm not vary happy with the images. This was a bee we'd not seen in the yard during the 10 years we have been at this location.
