Tiny Syrphid Fly - Melanostoma mellinum - Male

Size: approx 8mm
These little guys/gals were on the Laurel Hedge along with several Mas*on Be*es and Hoverflies. Some were underneath the leaves, so I imagine their little bodies would warm up too much and then they would go to the shade.
