Theridion frondeum

Theridion frondeum

I have looked high and low, and never seen a picture of this species anywhere. Thanks in advance for any help.

Comb-footed spider?
This is most likely a comb-footed spider, also known as a cobweb weaver, family Theridiidae. Might be genus Theridion, though it is more colorful than most members of that genus.

I didn't have a clue on these until I came across a very close photo in Florida's Fabulous Spiders (1). The one listed there is Theridion pictipes, but I would expect there are many similar looking species.

That's the baby! Thanks, Troy
That's the baby! Thanks, Troy & Eric. Now, if I can just find another one and get some good pictures.
