Size: 8 mm
This attractive small Stratiomyid fly was identified by Dr. Norm Woodley, of the US National Museum. I encourage more entomologists to submit images of flies in this genus. I haven't seen any others posted on the Internet.

I added two more (pinned) species of this genus... I have never collected them myself and they seem to be not very common...
