Moved from ID Request. In KY you have both Northern and Southern Black Widows. It can be hard to tell them apart, though an image of the hourglass is often helpful.

Talked to a Entomologist friend and confirmed it is a black widow. Most likely a juvenile so color is more variant, and possibly male

Is this a male or female black widow? I didn't think male BW's would get this big and hadn't seen the orange coloration that strongly before on a female. Thanks!
