. In KY you have both Northern and Southern Black Widows. It can be hard to tell them apart, though an image of the hourglass is often helpful.

Black Widow confirmed
Talked to a Entomologist friend and confirmed it is a black widow. Most likely a juvenile so color is more variant, and possibly male

Black widow?
Is this a male or female black widow? I didn't think male BW's would get this big and hadn't seen the orange coloration that strongly before on a female. Thanks!
