unknown brown spider - Larinioides cornutus
Sturgeon, Boone County, Missouri, USA
September 5, 2014
Size: About 1/2" body
Located in our dark bedroom. We believe it bit my wife twice recently before we located it. What kind is it? Is it poisonous? Thanks!

Moved from ID Request.

Orb Weaver
It is one of the Orb Weavers, Araneidae, another may narrow down based on the dorsal pattern and leg banding..
It is unlikely this is the culprit as they are non-aggressive, and their bites are not dangerous.
If it is still in your house simply transport outside with a cup/glass and a piece of paper.
