Odd shaped Yellowjacket nest - Dolichovespula maculata

Odd shaped Yellowjacket nest - Dolichovespula maculata
Umatilla National Forest, 4700 feet ele. South of Pilot Rock, Umatilla County, Oregon, USA
September 9, 2014
Size: 4-5 mm cell diameter
Just to add detail, this is the comb from inside the nest. Each cell is 4-5 mm in diameter.
I am wondering if this is consistent with a Bald-faced Hornet nest.
I am still learning!
