Small beetle - Philothermus glabriculus

Small beetle - Philothermus glabriculus
Tippecanoe County, Indiana, USA
March 25, 2007
Size: ~ 2 mm
One of those families that isn't obvious to me yet. Or maybe its the small size that is throwing me off. Any help appreciated.

Cerylonidae: Philothermus sp.
As Philip indicated - probably glabriculus, not sure if there are other species in Indiana.

Great!
glabriculus is the only one listed for IN in Downie & Arnett, so I'll bet thats it.

Looks right
Don has ID'd some here - he may have more to add. I'm still astonished by the variety of 'smaller' families we're picking up.

Cerylonidae?
:-)
