Female wasp on Virginia Pine - Pristaulacus - Female
Fort Smallwood Park, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, USA
September 19, 2014
Female with very long ovipositor inspecting every nook and cranny on a Virginia Pine trunk. Park is sandy coastal plain habitat along the Chesapeake Bay. A hole with several harvestmen was near the center of her range of patrolling while I watched. Thanks as always.
