Everlasting Tebenna Moth - Tebenna gnaphaliella

Everlasting Tebenna Moth - Tebenna gnaphaliella
Cross Plains, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
March 26, 2007
Size: ~4-5mm
While watching the antics of some bees which spent the day circling a small group of miniature yellow iris, I spotted this tiny moth. I'm guessing at the size since it was so small but it seemed smaller than the twirler moth which I photographed last year. Notice the size of the moth compared to the pollen grains on the petal of the iris.

Thanks for the link. It sure looks like the same kind of moth. It has the yellow wing patches mentioned in the info tab.
