Very large. 12mm was lower end, could have been as large as 15mm. Could this be P. borealis?

Odd shaped eyes - Ancistrocerus

This insect was looking in holes on the door to my small goat barn. A lot of its features are just a little different from the bees and wasps I am used to. The eyes have an odd notch in line with the antennae.

This moth has been hanging around in my bathroom sink for a few days. It does not seem to mind activity around it.

I think this is a meadowhawk, but I do not know what kind. Every summer, I get several bright red dragonfly species around my pond. This is the first this year.
