Studied entomology as an undergrad at Cornell. Currently studying systematics and taxonomy of Tenebrionids at University of Arizona. While casually interested in beetles as a whole, my professional focus is the Tenebrionidae. For my PhD I am working on a partial revision, phylogeny, population genetic study of the genus, Coniontis.
I shoot with a Nikon Coolpix P4 so I'm greatly limited in terms of size of insects I can photograph. Mostly into collecting so still trying to remember to photograph alive before capturing.
