I am an enthusiast, not so much an expert. My primary interest is pollinators, particularly the Hymenoptera. I have a keen interest in anthecology, which is the study of the relationships between plants and pollinators. At its inception, anthecology was in practice a casual form of observational science although the last few decades has seen anthecology move into the lab. I practice more of the former through photography and casual observation, either dedicated or throughout my day to day. I write a blog to share my observations.
