I live in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. I've had some entomological experience, working briefly at Iowa State in mosquito control, the National Zoo's Invertebrates collection, and the Smithsonian's Heteroptera collection. I wrote a master's thesis on Miridae, and a doctoral dissertation on Reduviidae, but if you look at my Curriculum Vitae, you'll see more molecular genetics and microbiology papers than entomology.
These days, my interest is natural history in general.
