I'm a 21-year-old college student in the Bay Area - I'm majoring in zoology right now and eventually I will choose a certain field to specialize in. I've recently renewed my childhood obsession: bugs! My passion extends to other kinds of wildlife as well - I am an avid herper and birder. Though I've learned much in the years I've been a member of BugGuide, I still consider myself very much a beginner when it comes to arthropods, and I sometimes make mistakes in my identifications - please help me correct those if you happen to spot one! I also dabble in photography, and though I have a Canon Digital Rebel T1i, I shoot my insect photos with my PowerShot G9 until I can afford a macro lens for my DLSR.
