Biography:

An amateur photographer since the mid 1970's, I recently made the switch from film to digital imaging. I now enjoy shooting images of the very small creatures which I have been curious about since childhood.

I am using Canon 40D and Rebel XT (350D) digital camera bodies with a Canon 70-200mm f/4 L + Kenko 36mm DG extension tube and a Vivitar (Tokina) Series 1 90mm f/2.5 macro. As of May 15, 2008, I have added the Canon MPE-65mm 1-5x macro lens with a set of Kenko DG extension tubes (68mm) and the MT-24ex twin head flash unit to my macro arsenal for the really small critters :^)
