Biography:

My profession is software. Bugs are a hobby.

On BugGuide I usually organize those sections of Nematocera (primitive flies) in which no other editor has taken an interest, with special emphasis on the midges.

My insect pictures are taken with a Nikon DSLR. I use Tamron and Sigma macro lenses for most closeups and a reversed wide angle lens for 2:1 to 5:1 macros.
