Biography:

Grew up in a small town in west central Wisconsin - not very far from the Mississippi River. I've always been facinated by nature and even though I work with it on a daily basis, the wonders never cease. My formal training is in midwestern botany & plant ecology, and I work with ecosystem management and restoration for a local land trust.
