Biography:

Age 66 (2009), a retired attention-to-detail commercial aircraft electronics technician/mechanic long interested in the natural world (trees, rivers, etc.), for 3 years I’ve taken photography (increasingly, close-up photography) seriously and in the process become fascinated by insects and spiders. In September 2006, I discovered plant galls (especially those of cynipid wasps); now, I can’t think about much else though I am occasionally distracted by beetles and spiders. I’m ashamed to admit, I’m attracted to the most photogenic (colorful/shapely/etc.).
