Biography:

Teaching Middle School Science is only an outlet for my varied interests in nature. I can't seem to get enough of learning about insects through collecting, breeding, photography, and internet surfing. In summer of 2007 I was accepted as a Research Associate for the Florida Collection of Arthropods in Gainsville. I have the most experience with Lepidoptera, but enjoy all orders. If it moves, it has my attention. While many of my photos are taken inside, I do prefer natural shots. I am especially fond of insect eyes, hence many head shots in my photos.
