I am a sixteen year old homeschooled student, interested in insects. I have a collection that I started around 2003, consisting of more that 900 specimens. I also enjoy taking photographs of insects. I work on pinned specimen guide plates, which can be seen here, taken from specimens in my collection. I also take photos of insects alive in their natural habitat. These can be seen here. I like members of Lepidoptera and Coleoptera the best, especially the Cicindelidae. Take a look at my article on insect collecting here.

Most of my photographs were taken with a Konica Minolta Dimage Z2, which is a good camera. I previously used an Olympus C-2020 ZOOM.
