Biography:

I am a seventeen year old homeschooled student with an interest in insects and photography. My predominant interest is in Coleoptera especially Cicindelinae and also Lepidoptera, mainly Saturniinae.
My main hobbies are taking pictures of and collecting insects. I have a collection of insects that I have been working on for about four years.
I also am working on a photographic collection of insects, which includes pictures of live and preserved insects that I have photographed.

Check out my article on Potentially Dangerous Arachnids and Insects

Here are some of my favorite photographs:

Many of my early pictures were taken with a Canon PowerShot A95 digital camera; some with a conversion lens adapter and a close-up lens. I am currently using a Nikon D70 with a 105mm macro lens and a macro speedlight.

I created my own watermark, which depicts a specimen of Goliathus goliathus in flight, you can see this watermark in many of my photographs.
